Liverpool eager to sign €30m-rated Premier League attacker

The Merseyside giants have been dealt with a big boost in their pursuit of Adama Traore. Liverpool had targeted the Wolves winger in the summer, but the move failed to materialise due to disagreements over the transfer fee, with the club demanding in excess of £50m.

However, it appears Wolverhampton are set to slash Spain international’s valuation ahead of the winter transfer window, as they are in desperate need of funds. In fact, Traore could be available for as low as £18m, possibly giving the Reds a whopping £32m savings on the attacker, although his price tag currently stands at £20m.

After his move to Liverpool was blocked in the summer, Adama has fared quite well for Wolverhampton in the new campaign. With no goals or assists in 12 league games, the lack of productivity has remained an issue for the 25-year-old winger, but his pace, athleticism and sheer strength have added a new dimension to Bruno Lage’s offensive unit.

However, the Spanish forward is now prepared to take the next step in his career. Many experts already believe that the Spaniard’s numbers could shoot up significantly if he joins a bigger team, and that is where the Reds could come into the fray.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Wolverhampton winger throughout 2021. It appears he has been identified as the perfect man to further reinforce the German manager’s front-line. Traore himself is believed to be keen on moving to Anfield, where he can reunite with his ex-Wolves partner Diogo Jota.
