Liverpool are close to signing £65m-rated German centre-forward

Liverpool almost finished negotiations with RB Leipzig superstar Timo Werner and preparing to make an offer in July when the transfer window opens again. Merseyside club have problems in the front-line as Dominic Solanke moved to Bournemouth, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge linked with several clubs and they need back-up.

The Germany international is the best choice in this situation as he has an impressive campaign and proves his worth one more time. Klopp ready to spend big money on the footballer during the summer transfer window. Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also keen to sign him, and there will be a contest for the player.

Timo joined the German club from Stuttgart in 2016 with a €14m deal. He became a real leader of the club and scored many vital goals since joining. In this campaign, Werner already played 33 matches, scored 17 goals and made six assists in all tournament.

It is a fantastic result, and he can improve his consequences with high-class teammates. The German star has contracted with the Red Bulls until 2020, and his release clause is nearly €65m. His price could increase during this season and become much more.

The 23-year-old attacker is a regular member of the national team and also played in the 2018 World Cup which is already a big success for the forward. Reds will do everything to add him this July, but it will be difficult as Bavarians, Blues and Los Blancos also planning to make a bid during the transfer window.
