Juventus keen on signing €45m-rated Chelsea long-term target

Bianconeri keep a close eye on Roma defender Kostas Manolas and preparing to make an offer during the summer transfer window. Old Lady need a new top-class centre-back to strengthen the back-line, and Greece international is the great option in this situation as he had an excellent campaign and proved his greatness one more time.

Max Allegri ready to spend considerable money on the footballer in July when the transfer window opens again. Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man United and Atletico Madrid are also eager to sign him, and there will be a contest for the player. The 27-year-old defender joined the Giallorossi from Olympiacos in 2014 with a €14m deal.

He became a crucial figure for the club and played many matches amazingly since joining. In this season, Greek centre-back made 35 appearances, scored two goals and provided one assist in all competition. It is an impressive result, and he can improve his consequences with high-class partners.

Manolas has contracted with the Italian club until 2022, and his release clause is around €45m. He is a regular member of the national team and also helped them to reach the playoff in the 2014 Mundial, but after losing in a penalty shoot-out against Costa Rica, they kicked out from the tournament.

Probably Kostas will accept the correct offer from the Italian manager. Juventus had a fantastic result in Serie A as they won the competition one more time. Italian club added several footballers last summer like Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, Emre Can from Liverpool, Joao Cancelo from Valencia and Leonardo Bonucci from Milan.
