Biacnoneri are ready to rival Liverpool for the signing of Ferran Torres. U21 Spain international has caught the eye this campaign, registering four goals and assists apiece in La Liga. Ferran is about to enter the final year of his deal at Valencia, with a host of top clubs linked with him, including Merseyside giants and Barcelona.
Now Old Lady have joined the battle to sign Torres, who reportedly has a €100m release clause. The 23-year-old star could be a perfect replacement for Shaqiri, who is expected to leave Anfield this summer. The Spanish winger would represent a younger alternative, one who is averaging more key passes and dribbles per game than this campaign.
At 20, Ferran probably wouldn’t be expecting to play every week, especially with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane starring in wide areas for Liverpool. Torres could mature at Anfield, learning from the pair of world-class wide men. Juventus view Ferran as an alternative to Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa, another long-term objective for the club.
Valencia may be willing to sell for cheaper than the €100m buyout clause, too, if they are concerned about losing him on a free transfer in the summer of 2021. Bianconeri could make an offer for Torres, should they opt to sell Federico Bernardeschi or Douglas Costa who have both failed to impress this campaign.
Juventus have impressive consequences in the Serie A this campaign as they are leading the table. Old Lady signed several players during the summer transfer window like Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax, Merih Demiral from Sassuolo, Danilo from Man City, Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal and Adrien Rabiot from PSG.
