Merseyside club are willing to listen to offers for Adam Lallana in 2020 with he seeing his first-team opportunities restricted at Anfield. Former England international has played only one match for Liverpool so far this campaign, against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup and appears to be a long way down German tactician’s pecking order.
Adam will be out of contract at the end of the campaign, but Merseyside club hold a one-year option on his contract. Reds plan to activate that clause to move the former Southampton man on at the end of the campaign.
Adam has been linked with a possible exit from Liverpool in winter, but as per the report, Jurgen Klopp has ruled out his departure mid-season with the Merseyside club hoping to push for glory in both the PL and in defence of their UCL crown.
The 31-year-old playmaker will, as a result, be kept on until the summer and told to continue pushing for his spot in the team in a to change German manager’s mind. Reds have been linked with a replacement for English midfielder in the past, with £27m-rated Trabzonspor star Abdulkadir Omur regularly mentioned as a possible target for Jurgen.
However, we understand Klopp wants to see how Harry Wilson fares during his season-long loan spell with Cherries, with Wales attacker, earmarked for a place in Reds squad next campaign assuming Adam Lallana leaves and considering the former continues on the upward trajectory he first showed while with Derby the last term.
