N’Golo Kante has once again popped up on the radar of Inter Milan ahead of the summer transfer window. Antonio Conte is keen on having a reunion with the London giants midfielder at San Siro, but the player will cost upwards of €60m.
France international has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world since arriving in England by joining Leicester City in the summer of 2015. Kante moved to Chelsea a year later after having played a pivotal role in the Foxes’ shock PL triumph and went on to reproduce the goods at Chelsea in his maiden season with the Blues.
Since then, N’Golo has only gone from strength to strength, even though there have been a few injury issues along the way.
At Chelsea, the 30-year-old midfielder has amassed 212 appearances while also chipping in with 11 goals and 10 assists. His exploits have often attracted some of the best teams in Europe and ahead of the summer, the French midfielder is the subject of interest from Inter Milan.
The report claims that Antonio Conte was keen on securing the services of the World Cup winner last summer as well, but Inter Milan never really approached the Blues. Ahead of this summer’s transfer window, Kante is once again desired by Antonio Conte, and the interest does make a great deal of sense.
Conte has a plethora of midfielders at his disposal. However, on closer inspection, it becomes clearer that most of those options do not really offer a lot of quality, with Matias Vecino and Arturo Vidal facing an uncertain future with the Nerazzurri, while Marcelo Brozovic has emerged on the radar of Man United and Real Madrid.
