Inter Milan have agreed on a deal to sign Red Devils versatile defender Matteo Darmian on a free transfer once his contract with Man United expires next summer.
Italy international has found himself largely out-of-favour at Old Trafford in recent campaigns, with the former Torino right-back making only 24 appearances for the club in all tournaments since the start of the 2017/18 season.
Given the signings Red Devils have made this transfer window in terms of defenders, we doubt Matteo will be getting much game time this term, and given this, it seems like the footballer has already agreed on a deal to leave the club come to the end of this campaign.
Nerazzurri have agreed on a deal to sign Darmian for nothing once his contract with Man United runs out in 12 months. Italian defender had been expected to seal a move to Juventus this transfer window, however now it looks like he’s ready to move to the San Siro and link up with Antonio Conte at Inter.
Although the 29-year-old footballer has been deprived of game time at Old Trafford in recent years, the right-back has still managed to show how useful can be when given the opportunity. He also named in the national team squad several times which is already a big success for the footballer.
Matteo has been known to be able to play as both a right-back and left-back to a decent extent, versatility that’ll come in handy for the Italian club once Darmian completes his move to the club next summer.
