Getafe will try and sign Stefan Šćepović outright from Celtic in January

Šćepović is expected to complete a permanent transfer to Getafe in January having initially joined on a season-long loan.

The Serbia international Stefan Šćepović 2made 18 Premiership appearances and scored just 3 goals for the Hoops after joining from the Deep Blues for €2m on September 2014.

The 25-year-old told to our reporter: “The idea of coming back to Spain attracted me a lot. I know the football here, I know the
language and the people, and the truth is it feels like my second home.”

“So when I had to decide about whether to take this chance or not, I talked to my agent every day about my return and now I am very happy to be here at Getafe.”

The 6”2” striker scored 23 goals for second division Sporting Gijón during 2013-14 campaign and has attracted a lot of interest from around Europe. Obviously Šćepović has found a liking to being back in Spain, a place where he was one of the best before his move to England and Celtic.
