Chelsea centre-back Andres Christensen prefers to remain in the London club amid several offers. Denmark international spends much time on the bench but, despite this, he decided to fight for the place in the starting line-up. David Luiz already up to 30 and Gary Cahill preparing to leave the Blues during the winter transfer window.
So there is a real chance to get regular game time during this campaign. Christensen joined the London club from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2017 after the loan spell. He was an unchanged figure for the club under Antonio Conte but after Maurizio Sarri arrived he moved to the bench. In this season, Andreas made just 4 appearances in all competition which is a terrible result for the player. He should change the working place if he wants to get regular game time.
Danish centre-back is contracted with Chelsea until 2022 and his release clause is nearly €40m. He also played in the World Cup and helped his national team to reach the playoffs but after losing in a penalty shoot-out against Croatia, they kicked out from the competition. The 22-year-old defender deserves to get regular game time and Sarri has to think about it.
