€40m-rated attacker prefers to stay in Chelsea amid several offers

Willian Borges decided to remain Chelsea despite proposals from Barcelona. It is fantastic news for the London club as he is an unchanged figure for the club and Sarri wants to keep such an important player. Brazil international had a great season and proved his greatness one more time.

Blaugrana made an offer last summer, but the English club rejected it. The 30-year-old winger joined the Blues from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013 with a €32m deal. He became a key figure for the club and scored numerous amazing goals since joining.

In this campaign, Brazilian forward made 56 appearances, scored eight goals and provided 14 assists in all tournament. It is an impressive result, and he can improve his consequences during the next season. Willian has contracted with the London club until 2020, and his release clause is around £40m.

He is a regular member of the national team and also helped them to reach the quarter-final in the 2018 World Cup, but after losing 2-1 against Belgium, they kicked out from the competition. Probably Borges will sign a new long-term contract with Chelsea.
