Crvena Zvezda Italian target is interested in a move to Premiership

Italian right-back Marco Motta, who is a free agent currently, admitted his determination in joining Scottish giants Celtic.

Marco MottaItalian media outlet the Tutto Mercato Web asked the 29-year-old about the current situation, and Motta claimed that it would be a move that interests him, stating that the Bhoys are a prestigious club, despite not knowing a great deal about the Premiership.

“Yes, absolutely,” said defender when asked whether he would consider the move. “It is a league that I know little about, but Celtic is a prestigious team. The project fascinates me,” he added.

However, Serbian club Crvena zvezda are also interested in experienced player, who had a lengthy career playing for the likes of Atalanta, Udinese, Torino, Roma, Juventus, Catania, Bologna and Genoa before joining Watford last season. Crveno-beli still could have a chance to sign Motta, if Celtic manager Ronny Deila will refuse to add one-cap Italian international in the squad.
