Chelsea still want to sign €60m-rated UCL winning attacker

Blues have tabled a €60m offer to sign Gareth Bale next summer. Wales international is believed to be unsettled at the Santiago Bernabeu after receiving poor treatment from French tactician. As a result, the Premier League club are set to rope in the forward back to England by offering the Los Blancos a total of €60m.

Gareth has played a crucial role behind La Liga giants unrivalled success in Europe under Zinedine Zidane. But, in the past couple of years, Bale has struggled with a lack of fitness and has suffered a host of injury problems. As a result, he hasn’t played a lot of football.

It is also the reason why the likes of Asensio, Vinicius and even Vazquez made their breakthroughs at the Santiago Bernabeu. The 30-year-old forward was even linked with a move away from the Spanish club in the summer, but nothing materialised.

This campaign, however, Welsh star has played a vital role amid the apparent bad blood between him and Zizou. The ex-Tottenham forward has already featured in six league games, being involved in four goals. His contributions in the front-line have helped the Los Blancos stay at the top of the La Liga table.

London club have struggled in the attacking department this campaign. The likes of Pedro, Willian and Christian Pulisic have often appeared inconsistent. As a result, Chelsea have been over-reliant on the services of Tammy Abraham. The talented centre-forward has done well, for the most part, scoring eight goals.
