Chelsea set to splash the cash to keep world-class striker happy at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are reportedly set to offer Eden Hazard a massive new deal to ward off interest from Real Madrid.

The West Londoners are ready to up the Belgian international’s wage to £300,000 a week to keep him at Stamford Bridge next campaign, according to Sport.

The Belgian star is under contract at Chelsea until 2020. However, the club are said to be keen to lock him into fresh terms.

Recent reports, however, suggest that Real are reevaluating their interest in the footballer due to question marks around his current form.

Hazard has not netted in his last seven games and failed to make an impact during Chelsea’s two-legged Champions League loss to Barcelona.

The Belgian now earns £200,000 per week at Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United will push to sign Kenedy on a permanent basis if they remain in the Premier League.

The Telegraph claims that Rafa Benitez has expressed his desire to keep the Brazilian at the club beyond his loan spells which runs until the end of the season.

The versatile wide man was sent out on loan in January after falling out of favour under Antonio Conte.

The Brazilian had a disruptive pre-season campaign and questions were raised about his attitude off the pitch.

His immediate future at Stamford Bridge remains unclear, but with Conte also likely to depart this summer, there may well be a route back into the club for the player who joined back in 2015.
