Chelsea renewed negotiations with No.11 Nigerian forward

The London giants are reportedly among the teams willing to offer for the possible transfer of Villarreal star Samuel Chukwueze. Blues spent big on attacking talent over the summer, bringing in Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, but it looks they’re still prepared to keep on bringing in new footballers in that area of the pitch.

Blues being among the suitors for Nigeria international, who has a release clause of €80m with his current team. Despite so many new arrivals upfront over the summer, Blues might well be thinking about replacing the likes of Hudson-Odoi and Pulisic in that area of the pitch, meaning there might be room for Samuel as well.

Callum in particular has failed to live up to expectations and has been linked with the potential move away to Bayern Munich in recent times. Christian, meanwhile, seems a fine talent but just doesn’t quite seem like he’s won over the Englishman after failing to hold down a regular place, though that has also partly been down to some fitness issues.

The 21-year-old forward seems a huge prospect and could be the perfect fit for what the English manager is trying to build at the London club, though report makes it clear they’ll have to fight off many other suitors for his signature.

While Man United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leicester City and Everton are credited with an interest, Red Devils and Liverpool are mentioned as the two most likely destinations for the Nigerian attacker.

The 21-year-old winger has been a first-team regular for Villarreal over the last two years and boasts an eye-watering €80m release clause. Samuel Chukwueze is under deal with the Spanish club until 2023.
