Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang(€80.3m) believed in the summer that he would eventually make his long-awaited big-money move away from his current club, but for one purpose or another, it failed to come true.
Suggested mega-transfers to Paris Saint-German and Tianjin Quanjin fell through, and in spite of rumoured attention from the likes of AC Milan and Chelsea, Aubameyang stayed at Dortmund.
According to Bild, the 28-year-old striker’s wish to move from Westfalenstadion is still there and that, coupled with the club’s nose-diving form, has left the French striker with little option but to acquire a transfer in the January transfer window.
It’s believed that Dortmund are ready to receive offers in the region of €60m (£54m) for French international who ended as the Bundesliga first scorer last season scoring 31 goals.
Now with 17 in 19 matches this term, including 11 in 12 Bundesliga matches, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still one of Europe’s most clinical forward and the Reds could be tempted to renew their interest in him amid claims that Daniel Sturridge could go in January.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea half-back, Andreas Christensen.
The 21-year-old returned to Stamford Bridge during the summer after spending two campaigns on loan with Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.
Christensen has already made six Premier League games for Chelsea this campaign, while he has also appeared in three of their four Champions League games.
According to the Calciomercato, the Denmark international has impressed Inter with his performances in the early stages of the 2017-18 campaign, and the Italian giants are considering approaching the January transfer window.
Christensen moved to Chelsea’s youth system from Brondby in 2012.
