Juventus are set to dispose of Alex Sandro in the upcoming summer transfer window. It appears the Old Lady are keen on offloading the full-back for €25m, though they will even be satisfied with only €20m.
It has put Chelsea on red alert, although they could face stiff competition from league rivals Man United while Ligue 1 giants PSG are keen on securing his services.
Brazil international is not the only Bianconeri footballer to be linked with a move away from Turin this summer, as the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot have been subjected to speculations as well, with the former reportedly eyeing a shock come back to Arsenal.
While Ramsey and Rabiot have found it difficult to find their feet in Turin, Bianconeri have other reasons to offload Alex, who was hailed as one of the best full-backs in Europe not more than just a few years ago. Sandro has since endured a rapid fall from grace, especially in the ongoing campaign under Andrea Pirlo.
He has struggled with injuries and has never really managed to rekindle his form, often failing to provide consistency in his game. Blues, though, have long been linked with Alex and their persisted interest is hardly surprising, as Chelsea look to reshape their defensive unit under new manager Thomas Tuchel this summer.
The likes of Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri are facing uncertain futures at Chelsea, with German boss Tuchel favouring technically astute stars like Sandro. It is also why Chelsea have been linked with a move for another alternative in Alfonso Pedraza, although they could face stiff competition from Barcelona for the Spaniard.
