London club summer signing Christian Pulisic is reportedly already prepared to consider his future at Chelsea after a tough start to the campaign. The 21-year-old winger joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund past summer after catching the eye as one of the brightest prospects in world football at his recent club.
However, Christian has barely played so far this campaign, and it now seems he’s set to consider leaving if he feels English coach is unfairly overlooking him. The report quotes Frank as giving Pulisic assurances over his lack of action, and it is fair to say that he stays a youngster with plenty of competition at London club.
“He’s as young as all the young footballers we keep talking about. He’s just turned 21. So I think everyone if anyone is getting too excited about this they should calm down because he’s started five matches for us,” Frank said. “What he needs to do is work, work every day, work to show within the group that he deserves to play.
As they all do, as all the footballers do. That’s what the focus on everyone is.” Most Blues fans would surely agree that USA international needs be patient and fight for his spot rather than giving up on life in Chelsea so quickly.
It will be interesting to see if the American forward can work his way into Frank’s plans more in the coming weeks or if his stay with the Blues will indeed end up being a concise one.
