Chelsea in advanced talks with €110m-rated Bundesliga striker

Super-agent Mino Raiola is set to travel to England as he is ready for negotiations with the London giants, Liverpool, Man United and Man City with regard to his client and in-demand centre-forward Erling Haaland.

Norway international is the hottest commodity in the transfer market heading into the summer window with every top team around Europe eyeing a move for him. Apart from the aforementioned four clubs in England, the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid are also pushing to sign Erling.

In fact, Mino Raiola, along with Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge, had a meeting with Barcelona as well as Real Madrid on Thursday before the duo flies out to England for a meeting with four of PL’s Big Six clubs.

For the Blues, the need for a new striker is borne due to the struggles of last summer’s marquee addition Timo Werner. The German attacker has been below-par in his debut campaign in England and could be allowed to leave by Thomas Tuchel, who has set his sights firmly on Haaland to strengthen his attacking unit.

Add to it, with there being question marks surrounding the future of both Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud, whose deal expires at the end of the campaign, a new striker would be a welcome addition at Chelsea.

Liverpool, meanwhile, also need a prolific goalscorer at the top as Roberto Firmino has struggled to find the back of the net consistently this term, which has left Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to carry the goalscoring burden. Furthermore, the Brazilian has been strongly linked with a summer move away to Atletico Madrid as well.
