Chelsea given green light to sign 24-year-old French forward

Kingsley Coman is starting to become a hot property ahead of the summer transfer window. France international, who is in talks with Bayern Munich over an improved deal, is being tailed by Chelsea, Man City and Man United. Initially signed on loan by the Bundesliga giants, his move was made permanent a couple of years later.

Kingsley might be only 24 years old, but he is already one of the most decorated footballers of his generation, having won 24 titles to date. At Allianz Arena, he has been a regular member of the first-team setup since arriving from Juventus in the summer of 2015.

To date, Coman has turned out 198 times for Bavarians, with a decent record of 40 goals and 48 assists to show for his efforts. The ongoing season has been particularly fantastic for the 24-year-old forward, who is now in talks with Bundesliga giants over an improved deal.

And, keeping a keen eye on the developments are Chelsea, Man United and Man City. The interest from the Blues is somewhat surprising, considering Kai Havertz and Timo Werner are starting to settle down under the German boss.

However, with Kai Havertz being exclusively utilised as a striker, a spot could open up for the two positions behind him, which is where the French forward could slot in, even though he is a winger by trade.

What now stays to be seen is if a three-way battle for the services of Kingsley does indeed ensue in the summer transfer window, or if Bayern Munich manages to keep hold of their winger.
