Chelsea star N’Golo Kante is allegedly set to reject a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain if the French giants come calling for his signature.

Unai Emery’s team are believed to have made Kante a preference for the summer transfer window, as the club look to reinforce following their Champions League exit to Real Madrid on Tuesday.

As reported by the Evening Standard, PSG understands that they can lure Kante away from Chelsea with the hope of Champions League football, while his current owners face a fight to make a top-four spot this term.

The outlet adds, however, that Kante is not interested in a transfer and would prefer to perform in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old started his career in France, before joining Leicester City from Caen for £5.6m.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are always searching Europe for some of the next big talents in the game, and earlier they have been chasing skilful Turkish keeper Berke Ozer.

Earlier this campaign, the Blues sent officials to observe the 17-year-old in action for Altinordu as they consider a future move for the youngster, however now they face some fresh competition for his services.

Turkish outlet Yeni Safak have reported that Juventus have entered the race to land the youngster that is also wanted by Manchester City, and they are in discussions with Altinordu about a summer transfer.

After bursting into the first-team as a 16-year-old last campaign, Ozer, a regular for Turkey’s U17 side, was given his first call-up to the senior squad last May, however, is yet to make his international debut.

It’s understood that Juventus have launched a €2.5m offer to pip the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City to Ozer’s services, but it stays to be seen whether this offer will be enough.
