Manchester United and Chelsea will reportedly battle for the services of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

The South American, who is understood to be unsettled at the Parc des Princes, has been rated at £53m as reported by the French source Le Parisien.

The source suggests that The Red Devils and Chelsea are observing Cavani’s situation in the capital ahead of a possible swoop for the forward in the summer transfer window.

The Uruguay International joined PSG from Napoli in 2013 for around £58m and has become the club’s all-time leading striker while in Paris.

The 30-year-old has been influential in providing goals with this term besides attacking duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are always searching Europe for some of the next big talents in the game, and earlier they have been chasing skilful Turkish keeper Berke Ozer.

Earlier this campaign, the Blues sent officials to observe the 17-year-old in action for Altinordu as they consider a future move for the youngster, however now they face some fresh competition for his services.

Turkish outlet Yeni Safak have reported that Juventus have entered the race to land the youngster that is also wanted by Manchester City, and they are in discussions with Altinordu about a summer transfer.

After bursting into the first-team as a 16-year-old last campaign, Ozer, a regular for Turkey’s U17 side, was given his first call-up to the senior squad last May, however, is yet to make his international debut.

It’s understood that Juventus have launched a €2.5m offer to pip the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City to Ozer’s services, but it stays to be seen whether this offer will be enough.
