Chelsea closely monitoring €40m-rated Ligue 1 goal machine

Chelsea keep a close eye on Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe and planning to make a bid during the summer transfer window. London club have problems in the front-line as Eden Hazard and Callum Hudson-Odoi linked with several clubs, Willian and Pedro already up to 30 and they need back-up.

Ivory Coast international is the perfect option in this situation as he has an impressive campaign and paid attention. Sarri ready to spend big money on the player in July when the transfer window opens again. Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Man United, PSG and Barcelona are also keen to sign him, and there will be a contest for the winger.

Nicolas joined the Les Dogues from Angers in 2017 with a €10m deal. He is one of the best forwards in Ligue 1 and a key figure for the club.
