Arsenal completed the terms for talented African striker, Wenger confirms
Arsenal officials are on the verge of completing the deal for the talented Nigerian duo Kelechi Nwakali & Samuel Chukwueze.
The-17-year old Nigeria international starlet Kelechi Nwakali keen to play for Arsenal, not for Chelsea and Liverpool. Nigerian woonderkid impressed football fans with his stunning performances, and the great sense of creating goal scoring opportunities.
Nwakali picked up the award for player of the tournament at the 2015 under-17 World Cup.
Nigerian starlet revealed quite an interesting interview while speaking about Barclays Premier League football. Nwakali said: “I would love to play for Arsenal.”
“They are the Premier League club I will like to play for them because they play the best football in the world.”
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger also confirms the deal: “Yes. The [talks] are progressing well,” said Arsene Wenger. “Yes of course there are work permit issues. There are medical issues, because they have to make medicals. It’s progressing well.”
The source also claims, Arsenal will complete the double deal for £4m.
According to Metro, Nwakali is on his way to join Arsenal while Chukwueze is exprected to join the Gunners in the next month.
“I am going to Arsenal to work and try to be the best I can.
With God anything is possible, to work hard to justify my claim for first team football.” – Nwakali said.
