Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid are all reportedly vying for the transfer of Brighton player Yves Bissouma. Mali international could move for nearly £36m, or possibly slightly less. Yves has previously impressed in Ligue 1 with the Les Dogies and has looked a solid performer in the PL as well in recent times.
Gunners could do with a signing like him to save their campaign after an awful start, but it remains to be seen if the footballer of his calibre would even be keen on a move to Arsenal right now with the club in their current state. Los Blancos are not having the best of campaigns either, so could do with a signing like this in midfield.
The Merseyside club would surely be a tempting destination for Bissouma if he chooses to stay in the PL, though few footballers could say no to Real Madrid. They suggest that the 24-year-old midfielder is the kind of footballer Zizou likes, and that’s certainly a big compliment to the player.
The Malian midfielder has started all 12 of Brighton’s PL matches this campaign, becoming a standout performer for Graham Potter’s men. In terms of Reds more concrete interest, Yves compares favorably with Wijnaldum. Bissouma has made more forward passes than the Dutch midfielder, however, and is considered more progressive.
Yves is quickly emerging as one of the top midfield talents in English football. To that end, he seems certain to be the subject of some major offers over the upcoming transfer windows. Granit Xhaka continues to let Gunners down with his rash decision-making and the Spanish manager wants to revamp that area of his team.
