Arsenal in pole position to sign No.11 prolific Eredivisie attacker

Quincy Promes has admitted that he could end up sealing a move to the Premier League one day despite reports linking him with a move to Gunners. The Netherlands international recently joined the Jews from Sevilla in the summer transfer window just gone, with the attacker putting in some fantastic displays for Ajax since then.

Quincy has bagged 11 goals and three assists in 17 matches in all tournaments, with his latest strikes coming in his side’s dramatic 4-4 draw with Chelsea earlier this week. And now, amid having only moved to Ajax a few months ago, it seems like Quincy could be on the move in the future one more time if his recent words are anything to go off.

When asked about a possible move to PL in the future, the 27-year-old forward replied “To me, if I have the opportunity, maybe in the future”, news that’ll surely be good for the London club to hear given recent other reports.

Gunners have been linked with a move for the Dutch attacker in recent times, with winger ready to cost nearly £16m given that this is his current valuation. London club could do with adding to their options at wide amid the fact they sign Ivory Coast attacker Nicolas Pepe this summer just gone.

Arsenal lost both Iwobi and Welbeck earlier this year, two footballers that the Spanish manager often trusted to play on the wings, thus, signing Quincy doesn’t necessarily seem like a bad idea at first glance. Promes is a regular member of the national team line-up which is already a big success for the attacker.
