Now his injury is another failure for the London club as Unai Emery has to change him with another player. Torreira joined Arsenal from Sampdoria with a £27m deal. Last season he made 40 appearances, scored 4 goals and made 1 assist in all competition. After an impressive campaign, he paid big clubs attention and the Gunners signed him. Lucas is contracted with the London club until 2023 and his release clause is around £30m. His price could increase if he continuous improvement.

The 22-year-old also named in Uruguay squad for the Mundial and helped his team to reach the quarterfinals, but after losing 2-0 against France they kicked out from the tournament. Arsenal have to face Newcastle United in the Premier League and it will be a difficult match as the Magpies have a great team.
