Serie A giants Napoli are planning to hijack Chelsea move for Hoffenheim full-back Jeremy Toljan, according to the Bild reports.
According to the German paper, Napoli have joined Antonio Conte’s side in the transfer for the versatile 22-year-old defender.
Toljan is primarily a left-back, however, he can also play on the right or even in central defence.
The 22-year-old defender has helped German’s Under-21 team to win the European Championship last week beating 1-0 Spani’s U-21 side.
His current deal with German outfits is due to expire in June 2018, last term he has made 20-appearences in all competitions.
Meanwhile, The agent of Porto defender Alex Telles is confident that his client will play for Premier League champions Chelsea this summer on next season.
The 24-year-old full-back has completed a transfer to Porto last summer and made 20 appearances for Portuguese giants in 2016/17 season.
Reports suggest that Antonio Conte considers Telles as an alternatives option to Juventus full-back Alex Sandro who has to be a no.1 transfer target for Italian manager.
‘For now, we have nothing. Not from Chelsea. Neither me nor the player received any contact from any English club, but it can happen because the market opens tomorrow,’ Fernando Otto told Sports Witness.
‘When he went to Galatasaray, we had an offer from Chelsea for Alex. But at the time, we had already confirmed a pre-contract with Galatasaray, and we could not go back.
‘But there was an information exchange, last year too. And I believe that maybe one day he will play for Chelsea.
