£50m-rated Arsenal footballer could miss UEL game due to an injury

Gunners midfielder Lucas Torreira got an injury during the Premier League game against Watford, and he may skip the Europa League match against Napoli this week. It is terrible news for Arsenal as he is an unchanged figure for the club and it will be difficult to achieve success without him.

Uruguay international has a fantastic season and proves his worth one more time. Napoli were also interested in signing him last summer, but the deal failed. Torreira joined the London club from Sampdoria in 2018 with a €30m agreement. He is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a key figure for the club.

In this campaign, Lucas already played 42 matches, scored two goals and made four assists in all tournament. It is an impressive result, and he can do much more during this season. Uruguayan midfielder has contracted with the English club until 2023, and his release clause is around €50m.

His price could increase during this campaign and become much more. Gunners have impressive consequences in the Premier League as they are in a fourth place in the table and have the opportunity to get the Champions League ticket. London club also won the Europa League first match against Napoli 2-0, and they have a big chance to reach the semi-final.

Arsenal signed several footballers last summer like Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus, Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen, Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria, Sokratis from Borussia Dortmund and Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient. English club also added Barcelona player Denis Suarez this January with a season-long loan deal.
