£45m-rated Chelsea player could miss next match due to an injury

Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso got an injury during the Premier League game against Cardiff City, and he could miss several matches. It is terrible news for the Blues as Spain international has an impressive campaign and it will be difficult to win the games without him. Emerson Palmieri will back-up him in the coming matches.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid still keen to sign him and preparing to make an offer during the summer transfer window. There will be a real contest for the footballer, and his price could become much more. Marcos joined the London club from Fiorentina in 2016 with a €25m deal.

He is one of the best defenders in the Premier League and unchanged figure for the club. In this season, Alonso already played 35 games, scored two goals and made seven assists in all tournament. It is a fantastic result, and he can do much more during this campaign.

Spanish left-back has contracted with Chelsea until 2023, and his release clause is nearly €45m. He also plays regularly in the national team which is already a big success for the footballer. Blues have a good result in the Premier League as they are in a sixth place in the table and have a big chance to get the Champions League ticket.

London club also reached the Europa League quarter-final, and they have to face Slavia Praha next week. Chelsea signed several footballers last summer like Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao, Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid and Jorginho from Napoli. English club also added Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic and Juventus centre-forward Gonzalo Higuain this January.
