£200,000-a-week Man United injured forward could miss Euro 2020

It wouldn’t be a build-up to an international tournament for England if they didn’t have to spend months worrying about an injury, only this time there’s two key footballers with terrible injuries.

It does look like Harry Kane should be back for the Euro, but the more we hear about the injuries suffered by Marcus Rashford it’s starting to look like he might have to miss out.

Initially, it just looked like a slight tweak or a strain, but it’s terrible news for the Red Devils and the Three Lions. They say he has a double stress fracture in his back and the Norwegian manager has offered no guarantees that he will be fit for the Euros.

England have plenty of good footballers in attacking positions so they should manage to get by, but this is a significant problem for Man United. He’s looked like the just consistent goal threat this campaign and if he’s missing there isn’t much in their starting XI that will scare the opposition.

It’s still not clear if they hope someone steps up to fill the void or if they will make a signing or two, but it’s bad news for everybody involved right now. In this campaign, Marcus Rashford already played 31 matches, scored 19 goals and provided five assists across all tournaments.

Man United have terrible results in the Premier League this campaign as they are in a fifth place in the table. Red Devils signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Harry Maguire from Leicester City, Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
