£120,000-a-week Blues attacker wants to get regular game time

Chelsea centre-forward Olivier Giroud wants to get a regular place in starting line-up, or he will leave the London club during the summer transfer window. France international spends this season sitting on the bench which is terrible for his career.

Several clubs like West Ham United, Marseille and Lyon keen to sign him, and there will be a real battle for the player. His price could increase and become much more. Giroud joined the Blues from Arsenal last January with a €17m deal. He became a key figure for the club and scored several vital goals since joining.

In this season, the 32-year-old centre-forward already played 33 matches, scored ten goals and made seven assists in all competition. It is an excellent result, and he can do much more if he gets regular game time. The French striker has contracted with the London club until 2019, and his release clause is nearly €20m.

He is a regular member of the Les Bleus squad and also helped them to win the 2018 Mundial which is already a big success for the player. Chelsea have a good result in the Premier League as they are in a sixth place in the table and have an opportunity to get the Champions League ticket.

London club also reached the Europa League quarter-final, and they have to face Slavia Praha in April. Blues signed several footballers last summer like Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid, Jorginho from Napoli and Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao. English club also added Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic and Juventus centre-forward Gonzalo Higuain this January.
