Manchester United have reportedly make an offer for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
The 25-year-old has impressed for the Foxes since his move from Hull City last summer, playing 38 games in all tournaments for the 2015-16 Premier League champions.
Jose Mourinho, meanwhile, is believed to be eyeing an overhaul of his defence at the end of the campaign, with the likes of Chris Smalling, Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind all understood to be on borrowed time at Old Trafford.
As reported by The Mirror, Mourinho has been impressed with a raft of scouting reports on Maguire, who netted a last-gasp equaliser in December to deny Man United an away triumph over Leicester.
The story goes on to suggest that the Foxes, who spent Hull £12.3m for the player’s signature last summer, could be convinced to do business starting at £35m.
Maguire has also impressed for England in last months and is expected to be in Gareth Southgate’s team for the Russia World Cup.
