Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has reportedly decided to maintain his interest in Spartak Moscow attacker Quincy Promes.
During the summer transfer window, The Reds were linked with a transfer for Promes before the Netherlands international finally stayed in Russia.
The two sides would meet in the Champions League group stages – with Promes playing in the 1-1 draw at the end of September – and it seems that the 25-year-old did rather in that fixture to stay on the radar of Klopp.
As reported by Transfermarketweb, the Merseyside club are set to approach the start of 2018 as they look for ways to improve their squad ahead of the second period of the campaign.
Liverpool already sits seven points off the speed in the Premier League standings, while two draws have been recorded in the Champions League.
Last month, Klopp hailed the skills of Promes, who has averaged better than a goal every two matches in the top Russian league since 2014.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are still interested in Bundesliga giants midfielder Leon Goretzka who currently plays for Schalke Man United and Arsenal are also interested in the player.
