Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly rejected to let Lucas Moura join Manchester United for anything less than £35.5m.
The 25-year-old has made no mystery of his wish to join the Red Devils in the past, saying that he came close to signing for Sir Alex Ferguson’s team in 2012.
The midfielder has struggled for game time in recent months, making just six appearances under Unai Emery this term and last starting a game for the French giants in May.
The South American was left out of PSG’s squad to face Amiens in the Coupe de La Ligue on Wednesday and, as reported UOL Esporte, the footballer is “counting down the days until he leaves PSG”.
But, the story goes on to suggest that The Red Devils want to start talks at around £18m, while the Ligue 1 team is not willing to do business with less than double that value.
He reportedly feels aggrieved by the “exorbitant” valuation put upon him and thinks that PSG’s position could wreck his move to Old Trafford.
Nantes are also understood to be interested in the winger’s signature.
