Chelsea are reportedly ready to make a move for Gremio star Arthur.

The 21-year-old has drawn attention from a some of the major teams with his displays this campaign, proving a major footballer for the Brazilian team in their Copa Libertadores campaign.

Manchester United were earlier credited with an interest in the footballer, with Chelsea, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid also keen.

Antonio Conte recognizes the footballer as a potential long-term replacement to Cesc Fabregas, as reported by The Mirror.

Arthur has two years to run on his Gremio deal, which is believed to include a £44m release clause.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Real Madrid are still in the race for Andrea Belotti but face competition from Serie A side AC Milan.

And as reported by TransferMartketWeb, Torino’s Italian opponents Milan are ready to make a fresh move.

Under new head coach Gennaro Gattuso, who temporarily worked with Belotti before at Palermo, Milan are in need of support.

They sit eighth in the Serie A standings and are struggling, having lost six in 15 matches.

However, while Milan could look to swoop in January, with Torino in 11th, Chelsea and Real are watching his situation.
